Narrative

An employee was handling metal sheet piles during installation. The piles were suspended by an excavator and guided into position by hand. The employee's left hand was caught between the suspended sheet and the installed sheet adjacent to it while a pile was lowered into position. The employee sustained a laceration to the tip of the ring finger and two broken bones and a laceration to their left pinky.
