An employee was unclogging a jam. Construction and demolition material (debris) fell into the hopper after being cleared. As it was being processed, small particles of the debris struck the employee in the face under his safety goggles, resulting in an eye injury (irritation in both eyes) and a headache. The employee was hospitalized.
