Narrative

An employee was at the back of a press machine, at its start/stop location. The employee noticed scrap accumulating on the scrap chute and began removing it. The machine closed onto the employee's right hand, amputating the tip of their ring finger. The employee underwent surgery to reattach the fingertip.
