Narrative

On August 12, 2024, an employee had an armature in a press and was pressing a shaft out of a motor. The press pushed the tool (a 1.5 inch in diameter metal steel rod with a cup that goes on top of the shaft) and it shot out and struck the employee's chest. The employee sustained eight fractured ribs and a perforated liver, resulting in hospitalization and surgery.
