Narrative

The injured employee was connecting a new water pipe to the water main on the sidewalk. Other employees pushed the 13-inch water pipe at the other end, and the injured employee's right middle finger was caught between the water pipe and the water main, resulting in amputation. The employee also sustained a laceration to their right ring finger.
