Narrative

An employee was cleaning out pipe from a 1500-foot hold. The employee was next to the operation area when one of the cables supporting the drilling rig snapped and struck their face. They sustained broken bones, cuts, contusions, and back injuries. The employee was hospitalized and required surgery.
