Narrative

An employee was transferring wood cants and boards from the head saw outfeed roller lift pad to the gang infeed table. The employee went to stabilize a cant when the bump stop rose up, causing the cant to shift backward. The employee's right little finger was caught between the cant and a roller, resulting in a fingertip amputation.
