Narrative

An employee was removing 2-inch conduit from the ceiling of the second floor while standing on a scissor lift elevated 13 feet. There was a failure in the scissor lift and the platform dropped to the bottom position. The employee was hospitalized with a fracture to their right lower leg that required surgery.
