An employee was manually moving a 75-pound skid (loaded with boxes) closer to the edge of a flatbed slider trailer to then load onto a forklift. They lost their balance and fell backward from the slider to the asphalt below. They fractured their left wrist and right thumb and injured their shoulder and forehead. The employee was hospitalized and received stitches above their left eyebrow and on their left wrist.
