Narrative

On April 21, 2025, at around 6:15 PM, an employee was working on a dual-tank asphalt distributor truck with reports of a clogged A/C line. When the return plug was removed, hot liquid asphalt projected out of the drain hole and onto the employee. The employee was hospitalized with burns to parts of his face, neck, and both arms.
