Narrative

On April 23, 2025, an employee removed the pin on a Kelly bar to remove it from a drill rig. The auger was lifted to remove the Kelly bar, and the employee's left ring finger was caught in the pin hole. The employee suffered a partial fingertip amputation and was hospitalized.
