An employee was standing approximately 6-8 feet high on an A-frame ladder and cutting a tree limb using a power pruner. The employee threw the cut limb to the ground and it bounced, striking the ladder. The employee fell from the ladder and struck his head on the concrete ground. The employee sustained head trauma.
