Narrative
An employee was using a chainsaw to cut brush during wildfire suppression operations and line preparation. The chainsaw bar became stuck in brush while he was cutting limbs off a juniper tree. He reached to move the brush and his left-hand fingers contacted the moving chain. The employee's index and middle fingers were partially amputated, and he sustained severe tissue damage to his ring finger that was reattached.
