Abstract

This regulation establishes a time-limited tolerances for the combined residues of the herbicide N-(4-fluorophenyl)-N-(1- methylethyl)-2-[[5-(trifluoromethyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2- yl]oxy]acetamide and its metabolites containing the 4-fluoro-N- methylethyl benzenamine moiety [hereafter referred to as flufenacet, the proposed common chemical name] in or on certain raw agricultural commodities. Bayer Corporation requested this tolerance under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), as amended by the Food Quality Protection Act of 1996 (Pub. L. 104-70). The tolerance will expire on April 30, 2003.
