The contact stated that heavy, white smoke began to emit from the air bag as he was hit in the face by the air bag, which bruised his right cheek. A police report was not filed, and the contact did not receive medical attention. Despite the failure, the contact allowed the smoke to dissipate, moved the air bag away from his line of vision, and drove the vehicle home.
