âWhile stopped at a red light my 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5, the car moved forward slowly the brake pedal became completely unresponsive and would not slow or stop the vehicle. I had to turn off the engine to bring the car to a stop. This is a complete brake system failure on a vehicle with only approximately 10,000 miles that was purchased new on September 28, 2024. This is a critical safety defect that put myself and others at serious risk.â
